Funnel Critic is free to read. We pay for it with affiliate commissions, and we would rather explain that than bury it.
How it works
When you follow one of our links to a tool and sign up or buy, some vendors pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it is the same price you would pay going direct. Those commissions fund the research, the writing and the price checks.
What it does not change
The order of a ranking, the verdict, and the drawbacks we name. Some tools we recommend pay us and some pay nothing, and you cannot tell which from where they place, because payment is not part of how we rank. If a tool is the wrong choice, we say so whether or not it would have paid.
How you can tell
Every page that carries a paid link shows a disclosure above the first one. Paid links are marked as sponsored for search engines. The reasoning behind each pick is written out so you can weigh it yourself, and our ranking method is public.
What we will not do
No paid placements dressed as reviews, no "sponsored top spot", and no removing a real drawback because a vendor asked. If that ever changes, this page changes first.
